Ian Parry was a photojournalist at the beginning of his career, when he was tragically killed while on assignment for The Sunday Times in December 1989.

From Failure To Promise Essay Contest

The Lincoln Forum Student Scholarships program is offered to elementary and high school students with an interest in Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War. To participate, you must submit a letter demonstrating your interest in Lincoln. Although there is no financial award, three students will selected to attend an annual meeting of the Lincoln Forum held in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

VideoSurveillance.com College Scholarship

Create a video of 60 seconds or less to participate in the VideoSurveillance.com College Scholarship Program. You can create your video using a webcam, a Smartphone camera or a video camera. You video has to address the topic: "How would you use video surveillance to create a better and safer community?" The video must mention “VideoSurveillance.com” twice.

IP Video Contest

A patent grants certain rights to an inventor for a limited time period. It is a form of intellectual property. In order to be granted a patent an inventor must prove that their concept is not obvious and previously undisclosed. The Intellectual Property Owners Education Foundation believes that the patent system protects inventors and promotes progress. Toward that end they are sponsoring the IP Video Contest.
