The National Junior Classical League offers a large number of scholarships to their members. Awards amounts, eligibility and other factors vary.

NJCL Scholarships - ten awards of between $1200 and $2500 are available to NJCL members based upon service to the organization, financial need, academic record and recommendations from teachers and other adults.

Development Fund for Black Students in Science and Technology (DFBSST)

If you are an African-American student studying or intending to study a technical subject at one of the schools listed below you may be eligible for the Development Fund for Black Students in Science and Technology Scholarship. The amount of the scholarships awarded each student is determined by the scholarship committee. Scholarships are based on merit and financial need. Scholarship awards are up to $2,000 per year for a maximum of $8,000.

LeTendre Education Fund Scholarship

If you are homeless or have been homeless* anytime from Kindergarten through high school you may be eligible for this scholarship (you do not need to be homeless now).  You must have shown a desire to further your education while homeless and have demonstrated higher than average academic achievement.

Providian Medical Scholarship

The Providian Medical Scholarship is an essay competition. To enter you must write a essay of no more than 1,500 words.

For your essay describe how medical equipment technology has changed the face of a college course and curriculum. Entries can also include a look toward the future and how this area of study will continue to evolve and advance.

The Automotive Hall of Fame Scholarship is for high school seniors and college students with an interest in the automotive field and financial need. In addition to the eligibility requirements listed below, you need to write an essay describing your career goals and objectives for the next five years.

There are several scholarships, some for incoming freshmen and others for upper-level undergraduate students. If you're a current college student, your major must be automotive related.
