Phyllis G. Meekins Scholarship
The Phyllis G. Meekins Scholarship is a scholarship, given by the LPGA Foundation, to a female high school senior from a recognized minority background who will be attending college full-time and playing collegiate golf at an accredited college or university in the United States.
Nurse Corps Scholarship Program
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Health Resources and Services Administration has a Nurse Corps Scholarship Program.
You must be enrolled or admitted to an accredited nursing program in order to be eligible.
A Voice for Animals Contest
Depending on your age, there are two different ways to enter A Voice for Animals Contest.
If you are 14 years old, you must submit an essay which addresses either the mistreatment of one animal species or one cause of animal suffering, or the preservation of one species threatened with extinction, occurring anywhere in the world.
National Sculpture Society Scholarship
The National Sculpture Society Scholarship is offered to four students who have created a portfolio of works of sculpture. They prefer works that are inspired by nature - or figurative or realist sculpture.
This is an opportunity to have your work reviewed by professional sculptors.
The FiSCA National Scholarship Program

The FiSCA (Financial Service Centers of America) National Scholarship Program is open to high school seniors from families in areas served by its members. Funding for the National Scholarship Program is provided by contributions from organization that are members of FiSCA and affiliate members, including MoneyGram International and Western Union.
What Makes a Great Teacher Contest
This contest is no being offered currently.
Energize Students states as its goal “to improve school quality and better educate today’s youth…”. In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week they promote the “What Makes a Great Teacher Contest”. Students are asked to write an essay (800 words or less) on their opinion of what makes a great teacher.
Glenn Miller Birthplace Society Scholarship Competition
Clarinda’s Glenn Miller Birthplace Society is offering scholarships of $3,000, $2,000 & $1,000 to instrumentalists. The vocal scholarships will also be $3,000, $2,000 & $1,000. These scholarships, which are awarded without regard to any other award, may be used for any education-related expense. It is not the purpose of this competition to select Glenn Miller look-alikes or sound-alikes, nor is it limited to pop music performance. Rather, in honoring Glenn, we wish to seek out and assist
