Hispanic high school seniors from the Topeka-Shawnee County area may be eligible for scholarships from the Topeka LULAC Council No. 11701 (LULAC is the largest and oldest Hispanic Organization in the United States). 

In order to be eligible, you must be of Hispanic or Latino descent. You or your family must be residents of Topeka or Shawnee County.

Applicants should contact their guidance counselors or financial aid office at their high schools for more information. Scholarship applications also are available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or by calling (785) 224-4443. The contact person is Michele Perez, LULAC Scholarship Committee chairwoman.

The deadline for applications is March 16.
