The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards

For students in 5th through 12th grade who have demonstrated exemplary community service.

Every year 2 students from every state (a high school student and a middle level school student) are chosen to win a $1,000 award and a trip to Washington, D.C. for a ceremony honoring their contribution to their community by volunteer work.  In addition, ten students will receive $5,000 awards.

The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards program is a youth recognition program based exclusively on community service. The program was established in 1995 by Prudential to honor middle level and high school students for outstanding service to others at the local, state, and national level.

To participate, you must submit a completed application to a school principal or the head of an officially designated local organization by November 1. They then have until November 8th to submit your application.
