You must live in the PG&E Service Area The Better Together STEM Scholarships (formerly known as the PG&E Bright Minds Scholarships) is available to high school seniors and college students living in the PG&E service area.
PG&E will award ten scholarships of up to $20,000 per year for up to five years, and 90 one-time $2,000 scholarships.
The factors used to determine the recipients include: demonstration of community leadership, personal triumph, financial need and academic achievement.
Scholarship winners will be announced in the spring.
Eligibility:
- Be a minimum of 16 years of age and be a high school senior or graduate, have received GED certification or be a current postsecondary undergraduate student.
- Live within one of the counties listed here.
- Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire next academic year.
