This year the Illinois Sheriff’s Association will be awarding over $53,000 in college scholarships to students living in Illinois.  The scholarships range from $500 to $1000 and are given to students with strong academic, extra-curricular and character qualifications.

In order to receive the scholarship, the student must be enroll full time in a higher education program in Illinois.

The deadline is March 15th.  Applications will become available in January and should be submitted to your local county Sheriff’s Office.
