Greenhouse Scholars
The Greenhouse Scholars program is looking for high school seniors from Colorado, Illinois and Georgia who are planning to attend a four-year accredited academic institution.
This is a program for students who have a financial need and have demonstrated leadership ability.
Their approach for supporting each selected Scholar includes the following for their 4 years in college: one-on-one pairing with a mentor, access to a professional networking program, structured peer support, a three-day annual leadership-training symposium, support securing an internship, and flexible funding grants to pay for unique experiences and opportunities.
They offer a scholarship of up to $5,000 per year that is renewable for four years.
The deadline is January 4, 2016.
Eligibility:
- Have a cumulative, un-weighted GPA of 3.5 or above
- Demonstrate financial need: household annual income may not exceed $70,000
- Be a graduating high school senior planning to attend a four-year accredited academic institution
- Be a resident of Colorado, Georgia, or Illinois
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the U.S.
