Coca-Cola Scholars Program
The Coca-Cola Scholars Program is one of the major national college scholarships for high school seniors. In some years as many as 100,000 students apply for this prestigious and generous scholarship. There are 250 recipients who are flown to Atlanta in April for a celebration of their accomplishments and to be interviewed by a National Selection Committee representing outstanding leaders in business, government, education and the arts to determine the level of award. Of those, 50 are then designated as National Scholars and receive scholarships of $20,000 and the rest receive scholarships of $10,000.
The scholarship includes several steps including a detailed application and multiple essays for those chosen as semifinalists. Approximately 2,200 applicants will be selected as Semifinalists in mid-November and notified by mail and email. They must then complete a secondary application, including essays, official transcripts, and two letters of recommendation.
