Missouri students who have a financial need based on their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) may be eligible for assistance from the Missouri State Government.  In order to be eligible the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) must be $12,000 or less and the student must attend a participating Missouri school (pdf).

There is reduced funding for the 2010-2011 academic year the annual Access Missouri award amounts are $275 for students attending public two-year institutions, $950 for students attending public four-year institutions and Linn State Technical College, and $1,900 for students attending independent institutions.  Award amounts may vary depending on your total financial aid package.

The awards are funded by the state and federal governments, as well as a philanthropic entity.
