The Skandalaris Family Foundation is an independent, non-profit foundation that awards scholarships to students characterized by their special talents, leadership skills, unselfish ways, strong values, and commitment to excellence. The majority of their scholarships will be granted to residents of the State of Michigan, but the scholarship is not limited to Michigan residents.

Simon Youth Foundation Community Scholarship

The Simon Youth Foundation Community Scholarship is awarded to one student from every community that is home to a Simon property (there are over 300). You must live within 50 miles of a Simon property (there are properties in 42 states and Puerto Rico, so check the pdf list). Applications can be obtained at the Guest Services desk inside each Simon mall or outlet center or online.

Scholar Athlete Milk Mustache of the Year (SAMMY) Scholarship Awards

Leonard L. Milberg '53 Secondary School Poetry Prize

The Leonard L. Milberg '53 Secondary School Poetry Prize is for high school juniors. Applicants may submit up to three poems with name, address, email address, telephone number and name of high school and high school telephone number on each poem. The jury will consist of members of the Princeton University Creative Writing faculty.

DAR National Society Scholarships

For high school seniors and college students studying pursuing an undergraduate degree in one of the following areas: history, political science, government, economics or nursing.

The National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) awards many different scholarships to students showing dedication to the pursuit of an undergraduate degree in one of the following areas:  history, political science, economics, government or nursing. 

Qualified applicants must be a high school senior and must have a 3.0 GPA (computed on a 4.0 scale), and demonstrate financial need.
