New Threats to Freedom Contest
The New Threats to Freedom Essay Contest takes the form of two different essay contests. The first is the Short Form Student Contest requires a student to write and publish a 300 and 500 word essay responding to one of three videos on the New Threats website. The second contest is called the Long Form Student Contest and must be submitted by email and requires the student to write a compelling counter argument to one of three essays on their website.
Top prize for both contests is $5000.
Eligibility: Entrants must be enrolled part- or full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university in the United States or its territories. Entries from high school seniors who intend to be enrolled by Fall 2011 will also be considered.
