The Phyllis G. Meekins Scholarship is a scholarship, given by the LPGA Foundation,  to a female high school senior from a recognized minority background who will be attending college full-time and playing collegiate golf at an accredited college or university in the United States.

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must be a female from a recognized minority background –African-American, Asian, Pacific Island, Native American, Native Alaskan,or Hispanic descent.
  • Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. legal resident.
  • Applicants must be high school seniors accepted to attend a full-time course ofstudy at an accredited post-secondary institution in the United States.
  • Applicants must have a cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).
  • Applicants must have a background in golf and plan to play competitive golf atan accredited college or university in the United States.
  • Applicants must demonstrate financial need.
