The Oregon Workers' Memorial Scholarship is open to a graduating high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student whose parent has suffered a serious job-related injury or death in the workplace.

The award amount varies each year, depending on the number of applicants and other factors, but the majority of recipients receive $1,000.

The deadline for submitting an application is Feb. 15 (early bird), with a final deadline of March 1.
