Orange County Community Foundation

Since 1989, the Orange County Community Foundation has helped to steward the dreams and legacies of Orange County’s generous citizens. OCCF works with individuals, families and business leaders to match their charitable interests with the needs of our community and the causes closest to their hearts.

HEEF: AlvaradoSmith Raymond G. Alvarado Scholarship Fund

For Orange County high school or community college graduates who are enrolled in Law School.

HEEF: Angel and Rosemary Varela Scholarship

This scholarship is for OC Dream Act/ AB 540 community college transfers with a 2.5 GPA or higher who will enroll at a 4-year college.

HEEF: Architecture and Engineering Scholarship

To qualify for this scholarship you must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and enroll in an accredited 4- or 5-year Architecture or Engineering Program.

HEEF: Arts Scholarship

For community college transfers who enroll in a 4-year college and major in: Art, Dance, Drama, Music, Performance Art, Video, Visual Arts.

HEEF: Association of Hispanic Professionals for Education

For community college transfers who enroll in a Business Administration or related major.

HEEF: Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez Anaheim Achievement Fund

For Anaheim Union High School District graduates who enroll at a 2 or 4-year college or university.

HEEF: De La Libertad Scholarship Fund

For Human Options clients and/or their children, who enroll at a 2 or 4-year college, a vocational training or other educational program.

HEEF: Eisner Foundation Scholarship

Applicants must be or have been active participants in Goals. The award may be used for fees or tutoring.

HEEF: El Viento Scholarship

For high school seniors who participated in the El Viento program from 4th through 12th grade.

HEEF: Fernando & Olga Niebla Scholarship

This scholarship is for high school seniors or community college transfers who enroll at a 4- year college or university.

HEEF: Friends of CA State Fullerton / Richard Bermudez Scholarship

This scholarship is for high school seniors and community college transfers who enroll at California State University, Fullerton.

HEEF: Friends of the University of California, Irvine Scholarship

This scholarship is for high school seniors or community college transfers who enroll at the University of California, Irvine.

HEEF: Healthcare Education Scholarship Fund

For high school seniors or community college transfers who enroll in a health career related major.

HEEF: Henry T. Nicholas III Foundation Fund Scholarship

Applicants must be or have been a Santa Ana Unified School District Nicholas Academic Center (NAC) participant.

HEEF: Hispanic Education Endowment Fund Scholarship

The Orange County (OC) Hispanic Educational Endowment Fund (HEEF) serves US Citizens, Permanent Residents and Dream Act/ AB 540 students.

HEEF: Lara Family Scholarship

This scholarship is for “Santa Ana Adelante” Santa Ana College transfers of Mexican descent with a 3.2 GPA or higher.

HEEF: MANA de Orange County

This scholarship is for Latinas with dependent children, who are enrolled or re-enroll in college and who qualify for need based financial aid.

HEEF: Mayte Santacruz Pre Law Scholarship Fund

For high school seniors or community college/university students interested in pursuing a career in Law.

HEEF: Mike Carona Foundation Law Enforcement Scholarship

This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors and community college transfers majoring in Law Enforcement, Criminology or a related major.

HEEF: New Century Financial Corporation

For Santa Ana College Santa Ana Adelante transfers who enroll in a 4-year college/university. Preference will be given to Business, Finance or a related major.

HEEF: Orange County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce

For community college transfers or continuing four year college students majoring in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related major.

HEEF: Orange County Register/Excelsior

For high school seniors or community college transfers who participated in their newspaper, yearbook, journalism or communications or a related major.

HEEF: Orange County United Way

For high school seniors who participated in the United Way AVID Program at Capistrano Valley, Cypress, Katella, Savanna, Huntington Beach, and other nearby communities

HEEF: Sage Hill High School

This scholarship is for 4-year college or university bound Sage Hill High School Latino seniors. May be renewable based on available funding.

HEEF: Sandra Y. Cervantes Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is for high school seniors and community college transfers. Preference will be to given Business, Entrepreneurship, Real Estate.

This scholarship is for “Santa Ana College Adelante” Program transfers to a four year college or university.

This scholarship is for high school seniors and community college transfers are involved in extracurricular and leadership activities.

This scholarship is for students who major in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

This scholarship is for “Santa Ana Adelante” Santa Ana College transfers majoring in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related major.

HEEF: Wells Fargo Scholarship

This scholarship is for high school seniors and community college transfers who major in Financial Services or a related major.

Brad Evans Scholarship

The Brad Evans Foundation Fund Scholarship was established by the Evans family to honor their son and brother.

Case-Swayne Scholarship

The Case-Swayne Company Scholarship Fund is a permanently endowed fund with the Orange County Community Foundation.

Charles H. and Ethel E. Wolfe Scholarship

This scholarship fund was created in 1976 by the estate of Ethel E. Wolfe.

Frank and Ruth Bila Scholarship

The Frank and Ruth Bila Scholarship is open to students in Orange County who are graduating high school seniors, high school graduates or current college/university students who wish to pursue a career in the field of restaurant or hotel management.

Gladys M. Kennedy and William L. Kennedy

In October 2008, Gladys M. Kennedy Trust established this scholarship for graduating seniors and former graduates of Laguna Hills High.

Jackson Family Scholarship

In 2007, Patricia and Catherine Jackson established the Jackson Family Scholarship Fund for Nursing to support promising students in nurse training.

James L. Warner Educational Fund Scholarship
