The sponsor for this program has decided to stop funding it, it is no longer available.

High school principals are able to identify a student leader and nominate that leader for the NASSP/Herff Jones Principal's Leadership Award.

Awards will be presented to 100 outstanding seniors from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. They will range from $1,000 to $12,000. Only nominations from the high school principal or their aents may nominate only one senior per school to compete.

Nominees should be in the top 20% of their class and demonstrate leadership. If there is a candidate with strong leadership qualities that is not in the top 20% of the class, he/she can still be nominated. Please keep in mind that this is a leadership award.
