Marianjoy Scholarship Program

The Marianjoy Scholarship Program is for students with disabilities to help them to further their education. It is awarded to students who are permanent residents in one of the following Illinois counties: Cook; DeKalb; DuPage; Kane; Kendall; McHenry; or Will.

You must have a permanent physical disability or functional impairment, which may include:

  • Brain Injury
  • Musculoskeletal Impairments, such as Amputation or Multiple Traumas
  • Neuromuscular Disorders, such as Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, or Guillain-Barre Syndrome
  • Spinal Cord Injury
  • Stroke

Students are also selected on the following basis:

  • Academic record
  • Financial need and family circumstances
  • Impact of their disability on the educational process
  • Educational and career goals
  • Leadership roles and participation in school or the community

The deadline is in late March.
