The Sheriffs' Association of Texas offers several scholarships to eligible students pursuing a college degree.  They include:

• Sheriff D. L. "Sonny" Keesee Scholarship 
• Sheriff Joe G. Goodson Memorial Scholarship 
• Sheriff Allen Bridges Memorial Scholarship
• Texas Peacemaker Scholarship
• Clint and Donna Peoples Scholarship
• Texas Railroad Peace Officers Association Scholarship
• Motorola Foundation Academic Scholarship
• Sherriffs’ Association of Texas Academic Scholarship

The scholarships are awarded in the Spring and Fall of each year.  The spring deadline is March 1st and the Fall deadline is October 15th. 

To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled in a College be less than 25 years old, and have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5.
