New Century Scholarship and Regents’ Scholarship for Utah Students

If you're a high school student living in Utah you may be eligible for two programs sponsored by the Utah State Board of Regents.  The first, the New Century Scholarship, encourages students to earn an Associate’s degree while still in high school.  The eligibility requirements include a minimum 3.5 cumulative grade point average from a Utah high school.  The second scholarship, the Regents’ Scholarship, encourages students to prepare for college academically and financially by taking a core course of study and saving for college.  For the 2010-2011college academic year, the award will be 70% of Tuition. For Brigham Young University-Provo and Westminster College it is 70% of the average tuition of the qualifying Utah System of Higher Education institutions.  The deadline for both scholarships is February 1, 2013.
