You must be a first or second year undergraduate student

The Cargill Global Scholars Program provides both financial support (in the form of a scholarship) and mentoring opportunities through seminars and networking events.
 

Eligibility:

1. Citizen or permanent resident of the United States
2. Enrollment in one of the partner universities which include: 

  • Florida Agriculture and Mechanical University 
  • Iowa State University
  • Kansas State University
  • Missouri University of Science & Technology
  • Ohio State University
  • Pennsylvania State University
  • Purdue University
  • Stanford University
  • Texas A & M, College Station
  • University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
  • University of Minnesota
  • University of Nebraska, Lincoln
  • University of North Dakota

3. Must be a first or second year undergraduate student
4. Demonstrate high academic performance
5. Demonstrate leadership potential
 

Special consideration will be given to applicants who can also demonstrate:
1. Financial Need
2. Affiliation with one of the following underrepresented groups; Female, Native American, Asian or Pacific Islander, Black, Hispanic, Student with Disabilities , First Generation College Student, Veteran.
3. Specialization in one of the following fields:

  • Agriculture Related Field
  • Business
  • Computer Science
  • Engineering
  • Food Science
