The Best Buy Children’s Foundation is offering 1,200 scholarships of $1,000 each to high school students. Called the Best Buy Scholarship Program, it is designed to award students in grades 9-12 who plan to attend post-secondary education, have solid grades and are involved in community service or work experience.

Students must be living in the U.S. or Puerto Rico. Previous winners are ineligible to apply.

Scholarship recipients are selected based on academic achievement, volunteerism efforts and work experience.
