AMVETS (or American Veterans) is an organization that assists veterans and sponsors other programs that serve the country and its citizens.

The annual theme for the 2013-2014 AMVETS National Americanism Flag Coloring Contest is: Color the American Flag template. Download the application with the templete and color away.

Eligibility:
All students in kindergarten and 1st  grade who attend public, private, parochial schools, Sunday schools, are home schooled, or members of any youth organization, are eligible to enter.
 

Judging:

  • Use of template provided     
  • Neatness    
  • Answers to questions

Contest rules:

  • Flag template may be colored using markers or crayons.
  • Questions must be answered.
  • Entries must use the template provided or copies of the template, including both sides.
  • All national entries must be postmarked by July 1. Local and state deadlines may vary.
