Stuck at Prom College Scholarship

Are you destined for art school? Are you the one with the creative hairdo or cool outfit? The Stuck at Prom® Duck® brand duct tape college scholarship is for students who have creativity in their soul. You must attend your prom wearing an outfit made from duct tape.

In order to compete you must attend a prom as a couple (two individuals) Each couple must attend a high school, home school association or other school-sanctioned prom held in 2013, wearing complete prom attire and/or accessories made using Duck® brand duct tape ("Duct Tape Prom Attire"), and submit their Contest Entry by the contest deadline.

Judging:

  • Workmanship (30%) will be judged based on the quality, neatness and attention to detail given in creating the Duct Tape Prom Attire and accessories.
  • Originality (25%) will be judged based on the uniqueness, inventiveness, creativity and original thought of the Duct Tape Prom Attire and accessories.
  • Use of Color (25%) will be judged based on the combination, integration and harmony of colors used to create the Duct Tape Prom Attire and accessories.
  • Accessories (10%) will be judged based on the creativity and use in accentuating and completing the Duct Tape Prom Attire.
  • Use of Duct Tape (10%) will be judged based on how duct tape is used to construct the pieces of the Duct Tape Prom Attire and accessories.

Eligibility:

  • The Contest is open to legal residents of the United States and Canada, including the District of Columbia, but excluding Colorado, Maryland, Vermont, Puerto Rico and the Province of Quebec,
  • 14 years of age or older at the time of entry who are attending a high school, home school association or other school-sanctioned prom in 2016, and who submit their Contest Entry by the deadline.
  • Employees of Sponsor, their family members, and persons living in the same household as employees or their family members are NOT eligible. All federal, state and local laws apply.
